i had previously seen several other doctors about a trapped nerve in my back, which had been going on for quite a few months. since visiting Dr Mayet, not only has he put me on the right medication, he has also booked the correct scans and hospital appointments i required. still in some pain but at least i'm getting somewhere now, especially since seeing Dr Mayet. i only ever want to see him from now on

Dr Mayet is very patient. Since my emergency hysterotomy two years ago, Dr Mayet has been extremely helpful in all aspects. He is always professional, listens actively and has helped me with some very difficult decisions. He has enable me to deal with the psychological trauma of my previous surgery and severe pain. I trust his decisions 100% and he is a very attentive doctor who is valued by all my neighbours as well. AFTER 3YEARS OF SEEING ONE DOCTOR AFTER ANOTHER WHO JUST SHRUGGED OFF MY SYMPTOMS AS BACK PAIN, I FINALLY FOUND ONE WHO ACTUALLY LISTENED AND ACTED QUICKLY TO SEND ME FOR FURTHER TESTS. I HAVE NOW HAD A DIAGNOSIS. I THANK GOD I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE DR.MAYET WHO IS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THINGS DONE. THANKYOU.

I have found him helpful and considerate with regards to the health of my daughter. We are unsure if she is asthmatic or not and I have valued the advice and help that Dr Mayet has given. He has also been very nice with my children, putting them at ease, talking to my son to include him whilst dealing with my daughter.

Doctor Mayet is always approachable and has excellent listening skills. He communicates in an open intelligent way and treats you as a peer, rather then a subordinate. He discusses your condition and openly assesses alternative treatments. Once a path is agreed he actions with a sense of urgency which makes you feel that he cares and is doing the best for you. As a consequence, if no further action is taken you feel that it is because it is genuinely not necessary. He continues to be my Doctor of choice at this surgery.
